Now, for this week's installment. I wrote this concurrently with "Dragon's Fire", and while the title was a no-brainer (takes place on Velocitron, continues with the Unicron-related threads) and some of the story details were ones just begging to be used, it didn't come to me quite as easily, or as quickly, as the other story did. Still, I got it written nonetheless.

Honestly, Black Friday makes me sick. But Angela mentioned Old Navy was gonna give away limited supplies of ps3/xbox360/wii games of Lego Rock Band 2 games if you arrived early enough and bought at least $20 worth of stuff. I've been meaning to shop for sweaters anyway, sooooo...... I went with Steve & Angela to stand in line in front of the store an hour before it opened. When we got there, SURPRISE SURPRISE! Coworker Tim® was there with another girl from work who I hadn't met before, and that made standing in line for an hour in the cold a lot less crappy. 8) I was planning on just getting $20 worth of stuff, but I ended up getting double that. I signed up for an Old Navy card at the checkout since it got me another 10% off my purchase, but I thought it was a membership discount card, BUT IT'S A VISA!!!!! >8( I don't want another credit card. So I'll cancel that membership next week or sometime. Then the three of us went to Denny's for breakfast, and then we went to Best Buy. We got there about 15 minutes before they opened, and the line was wrapped around the building. @_@ I was hoping to get Fallout 3 for Xbox 360 for just $20, and I did! Steve & Angela got some PC games for $5 bucks each, too. After that, they brought me back to the house, and I climbed back into bed.

Unfortunately, I'm about $20 less than what I need in the bank to pay for my monthly health insurance. Granma & I agreed to keep my Costco executive membership so I can stick with the Pacifica health insurance, but I'll be paying the $80 per month. So I need an extra $20 in my account so that I won't be overdrawn at the beginning of the month. ._.;;;;;

Lots of people were over for dinner, today. Steve & Angela drove down from Sacramento yesterday, so we hung out today and played trivial pursuit with Uncle Scott and stuff. Dinner was great, and we later went to Michael's for a little pre-black-friday shopping. I got a couple miniature lemax spotlights for my little tree, but they DON'T WORK. >8/ So I'm gonna exchange them and take batteries with me to the store to make sure it works before going home again. If they just don't work with batteries, I'll just have to get an AC adapter. 9__9

I'm gonna go to Old Navy at 2AM with Steve & Angela....... so I better go to bed now!

In which there are no rabbits on the moon, but there are fairies.

Notes: Back during the prowlxjazz Halloween challenge, I ended up writing a cracky AU where Prowl and Jazz (and eventually other Autobots) gained Magical girl-like powers. I uh, never really stopped writing them after, although I did start focusing more on other characters. I figured I might as might start the sharing the newer ones here. They don't really need to be read with the others, but if you're curious, the rest are here.

Points of interest while on my annual Thanksgiving migration:

-When I passed Big Butter Jesus, traffic stopped for a few minutes. I desperately avoided eye contact.

-At one point I was behind a car with a bumper sticker that said "I (heart) Penguins." I didn't really want to rear-end them in order to figure out what the small words underneath said.

-Dude, Ohio is obsessed with vanity plates. OBSESSED. We ALL have them.

So last night at the mexican restaurant, I ordered a green apple martini, and it got me a little tipsy. I slept really well last night, and I was awake and alert today. Then tonight, Uncle Scott makes margaritas for everyone that wants them, so I have one. Then I have a second one, which is a little stronger than the first. Then dad takes my glass cuz he thinks it's gonna spill on the couch when it's propped up against my leg, but he asks if I want another. And I say YES! Because Ronni's on her third, and I'm not gonna settle for just 2 when Ronni's on her third. >8/ So dad brings me a third margarita, but it's FUCKING STRONG. So I drink it a bit slower, and finish it, but it pretty much makes me mildly dizzy for the rest of the evening. And Uncle Scott starts saying things to Steve about me being drunk, and I can't hear it, but WHATEVER THAT'S SCOTT AND I'M JUST DRINKING FOR THE SAKE OF KEEPING UP WITH RONNI AND HAVING STRONGER DRINKS.

Ronni, when she drinks, she gets the giggles. She's a lightweight. I offered the drink dad made for me to Ronni, to show her how strong he had made it for me, and she was like OH, WOW. I dun think she could have finished it. She acts absolutely silly after the smallest amount of alcohol, and I'm sorry but I want to have the same amount and show her how I'm not as ridiculous as her after drinking. 8P

Which is stupid. But whatever, it's thanksgiving, relatives are here, I'm having a good time. 8)
